Zelenskyy intrigues with statement about domestic missiles and drones

Ukraine plans to increase the production of long-range drones. There is also progress in the issue of missile production, according to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He said that today, July 25, he held lengthy and detailed negotiations with Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn. An analysis of the work of defense sector enterprises was conducted.
"There are good results. Many different aspects, regarding our armored vehicles, drones, and artillery," Zelenskyy noted.
He added that the defense sector is becoming noticeably different - stronger and more efficient. It is also important that foreign funds from partner countries have started to make a significant impact.
According to Zelenskyy, new tasks were set today with Ukroboronprom and missile specialists. Currently, in many areas, there is not only potential or certain results but also supplies to fulfill the tasks for the Ukrainian military. Such supplies are increasing.
"In addition, we are preparing steps to increase the quantity and quality of our long-range drones. Ukraine will always know how to protect its interests," emphasized the President.
What preceded
Ukraine already produces drones and missiles that are actively used for strikes against Russian forces. Notably, innovative Ukrainian surface drones have sunk a significant number of ships from the Black Sea Fleet.
Ukraine also destroyed the Russian missile cruiser Moskva in the Black Sea using its Neptune missile.
Recently, Zelenskyy spoke about the positive progress of Ukraine's missile program. According to him, Ukraine is now approaching the capability to use its own missiles, which will reduce dependence on Western countries in this matter.
