Drone attacks hit two Russian industrial sites as oil refinery catches fire

Explosions were reported at Joint Stock Company Sebryakovcement, Russia's largest cement producer, in the Volgograd region on the night of September 15. Open-source intelligence channels also reported a fire at an oil refinery in Syzran.
Explosions at cement plant
"Explosions occurred on the premises of JSC Sebryakovcement in the Volgograd region. A missile and drone threat had previously been declared in the city, and fire crews were dispatched to the facility," one OSINT channel wrote.
It later became known that the explosion at the plant occurred near cement kiln No. 5. Footage published from the plant shows smoke spreading over the facility.
Syzran oil refinery under attack
The oil refinery in Syzran, Samara region, came under a barrage of drones, with an air raid alert declared in the region an hour before midnight.
"Preliminarily, tanks containing petroleum products are burning at the Syzran oil refinery in the industrial zone," the Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported.

In addition, it became known that the Defense Forces struck the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex with missiles, where military aircraft are repaired and modernized. This information was also reported by one of the OSINT channels.

The US president said that Ukraine should stop strikes on Russian infrastructure, including oil refineries, because they allegedly cause a global diesel fuel shortage.
The day before, Trump said that an energy truce was in place between Russia and Ukraine. However, it turned out that the issue had not been agreed upon, and the US president's statement was more demonstrative than indicative of an actual agreement.
