Drones attack oil depot near Rostov

Explosions were reported in Russia’s Rostov region on the evening of Monday, March 3, allegedly due to a drone attack. A fire also broke out at an oil depot in the Chertkovo district, according to local Telegram channels.
According to preliminary reports, an air raid alert was declared tonight in the Rostov region due to alleged unmanned aerial vehicles. According to locals, Russian air defense repelled the attack near Novoshakhtinsk.
However, locals later reported an attack on the oil depot in Chertkovo.
The regional governor confirmed explosions were heard before reports emerged of a fire at one of the facilities.
"The oil depot staff was evacuated, and there are no reported casualties. Firefighters are at the scene and have started to extinguish the fire, but it is still difficult to do so due to the intense fire," Russian media reported.
Attacks on oil refineries in Russia
Last night, the Russian Telegram channel reported about the sounds of explosions in Ufa. As it turned out later, the drones attacked a local refinery, causing a fire.
Also, on the night of February 26, Ukrainian soldiers attacked the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory with drones.
