On the night of March 3, Russians reported hearing explosion sounds in Ufa. It was later revealed that unidentified drones attacked a local oil refinery, causing a fire, according to Russian Telegram channels.

According to residents, at least one explosion occurred at 01:38 a.m. local time. The loud sound triggered car alarms. Shortly before the explosions, Russians reported hearing drone sounds, and later footage of the fire at the oil refinery area spread online.

"A fire broke out at the enterprise in the area of the combustion furnace. There is no threat to the residents of nearby areas. A laboratory has been dispatched to monitor air quality," reported the SHOT channel, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan.

Simultaneously, other channels also reported that the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the fire at the refinery and stated that firefighters were working to extinguish the flames.

Starting from 03:39 Kyiv time, several Russian Telegram channels, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations, began reporting that the fire had been localized.

On the night of February 26, Ukrainian forces launched drone strikes on the Tuapse Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region.
