Drone attack hits territorial recruitment center in Kremenchuk

On July 6, Russian forces attacked the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region. A local military enlistment office building was hit, according to the Ukrainian Ground Forces on Telegram.
According to the report, at around 9:35 a.m. today, the enemy launched drone strikes on the city of Kremenchuk.
"As a result of the attack, enemy UAVs struck the building of the Kremenchuk district territorial recruitment center and support point, as well as a nearby residential building," the Ground Forces stated.
According to preliminary information, there are no wounded or dead among the servicemen and staff of the territorial recruitment center and support point. Specialized services are working at the impact sites.
Details of the attack
Volodymyr Kohut, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, stated that the enemy attack on the Kremenchuk district caused a fire at a private property.
"All relevant services are working at the scene. As of now, no reports of casualties or fatalities have been received by emergency services," he clarified.
Local media report that there was a strike in one of the city’s central districts. Additionally, one of the main roads is partially closed.
Strikes on territorial recruitment centers
Russia has struck territorial recruitment centers in Ukraine three times in the past week. Besides Kremenchuk, there were also hits at the centers in Poltava and Kryvyi Rih.
The Ground Forces stated that the enemy aims to disrupt the mobilization process with such attacks.
Shelling of Ukraine
On the night and morning of July 6, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 157 drones and also launched four S-300 surface-to-air missiles.
The occupiers targeted Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions. The attacks caused damage and casualties. More details can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
