On the night of June 26, unknown drones launched a massive attack on Novomoskovsk in Russia's Tula region. The Azot chemical plant came under the drone attack, according to Russian Telegram channels.

According to local residents, they heard explosions throughout the night, and there were very many of them. It is claimed that the Azot chemical plant was the target.

According to posts in OSINT channels, Russians, after the attack, complained of a strange smell of ammonia in the air and problems with electricity. Local authorities have not yet reported any consequences. Meanwhile, some footage of the attack has appeared on social media.

The Azot chemical plant is Russia's largest producer of ammonia, nitric acid, methanol, mineral fertilizers, as well as chemical raw materials used for explosives and ammunition.

The last attack on the Azot chemical plant occurred on the night of June 14.

On the night of June 14, Russia's Tula region also came under a drone attack. Then, as a result of the attack, the Azot chemical plant was also hit, causing a fire to break out at the facility.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry's report, on the night of June 24, nearly 20 regions of Russia came under drone attack simultaneously – ranging from border areas to the Moscow region.

Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Security Service of Ukraine is launching a 40-day operation to exert influence on Russia in order to compel it to end the war.
