The Security Service of Ukraine is launching a 40-day influence operation against Russia in an effort to push it toward ending the war, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The head of state spoke about the results of a briefing by SBU chief Yevhenii Khmara on the plan for long-range strikes, medium-range strikes, and the performance of the Alpha Special Operations Center on the front line.

"I approved a 40-day influence operation for the Service against the aggressor state aimed at compelling it to end the war," the President said.

Zelenskyy noted that for several months in a row, the SBU has demonstrated the highest effectiveness in defending Ukraine’s positions on the front line, thanks to various types of drones.

"The Center of Special Operations Alpha leads in terms of the occupier’s personnel and equipment neutralized," he added.

On Wednesday, June 24, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine’s operation in Crimea is carefully calculated.

According to him, if Ukraine receives all the weapons agreed upon by G7 partners, the Defense Forces will be able to quickly create conditions that will force Russia to agree to a peaceful settlement.

Meanwhile, at the G7 summit, US President Donald Trump praised Ukraine’s long-range strikes on military targets inside Russia and supported stronger sanctions pressure on Russia’s energy sector.

In addition, US Deputy Secretary of State Jeremy Lewin stated that Ukraine is currently winning the war. He also emphasized that the United States, together with European allies, is returning to a full-scale sanctions policy against Russia.
