Around 1 AM Kyiv time on July 11, loud explosions were heard in the Chuhuiv community of Kharkiv region. At the time, an air raid alert was in effect in the region, according to a Suspilne correspondent.

At 12:41 AM Kyiv time, an air raid alert was declared in the city of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv territorial community. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the region was attacked by Russian Shahed-type drones.

By 1:22 AM Kyiv time, reports emerged of around a dozen explosions in the Chuhuiv community of Kharkiv region.

During the night of July 9, Russian forces launched 728 drones of Shahed and Herber drones against Ukraine. The following night, on July 10, they again launched 397 Shahed attack drones and decoy UAVs. In total, over the two nights, the number of drones launched reached 1,125.

Aviation expert Valerii Romanenko urged the public not to panic over claims of thousands of drones being launched per day, calling such figures exaggerated. He suggested comparing actual UAV launch statistics from the first ten days of July and June.
