Dozens of countries share intelligence with Ukraine, but information about ballistic missile launches comes from the US, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a briefing in Brussels.
"Many countries share intelligence with us — dozens of them. We have established this cooperation during the war," he added.
The president described this assistance as significant and substantial.
Zelensky addressed the issue of ballistic missiles separately.
"When it comes to ballistic missiles, we receive information about their launches specifically from the United States. As you can see, there are many challenges related to ballistic missiles," he said.
According to the President, Ukraine is exploring all options to be as independent as possible. He also recalled that Ukraine has always thanked its American partners for providing intelligence.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said that two-thirds of the intelligence Ukraine receives from Western partners comes from Europe.
He also urged people not to fall for Russian propaganda aimed at undermining support for Ukraine.
Earlier, US intelligence warned Ukraine’s embassy that it could halt intelligence sharing if Kyiv continued attacking Russian energy infrastructure.
According to The Washington Post, the threat was made on October 12, but it has not yet been carried out.
