As a result of drone attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of July 14, strikes were recorded in two districts. Fires broke out, and three people were injured, including two 13-year-old girls, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

It is reported that overnight, the Russian aggressor launched drones at the region. Air defense forces shot down 10 enemy drones, but there were hits in two districts.

In the Dnipro district, Russian drones struck residential areas. Three people were injured — two 13-year-old girls and a 51-year-old man. All of them were hospitalized.

According to Lysak, the children are in moderate condition, while the man is in serious condition.

The attack caused large-scale fires. Three private houses, two garages, four outbuildings, and a forest area caught fire. The blaze covered an area of about 1,000 square meters. Seven vehicles were completely destroyed, and four more were damaged.

A total of 41 firefighters and 11 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fires.

According to the State Emergency Service, all fires were successfully extinguished. Rescuers also published photos from the scene, showing the extent of the destruction.

In addition to the Dnipro district, a strike was also recorded in the Kryvyi Rih area. The attack caused a fire and damaged civilian infrastructure.

The Nikopol district came under artillery and FPV drone fire. Nikopol, as well as the Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities, were targeted. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries in these areas.

Shelling of Ukraine

On the evening of July 13 and during the night of July 14, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine using missiles and drones.

Four S-300/400 missiles and 136 strike UAVs were launched, of which up to 90 were Shaheds. Air defense forces shot down 61 combat drones, and another 47 decoys were neutralized by electronic warfare systems.

Russia also struck the city of Sumy, leaving part of the city without power.

In addition, the occupiers shelled the town of Samar in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to RBC-Ukraine sources, the Russians targeted the building of a territorial recruitment center.
