Russia hits critical infrastructure in Sumy: City left without electricity

On July 13, Russian military once again strike Sumy. As a result of today's enemy attacks, part of the city was left without electricity, according to the head of the Sumy city military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheienko.
"The enemy is striking objects of the city's life support. Part of the city and critical infrastructure objects are without electricity," emphasized the head of the SCMA.
He noted that as of now, all services are working.
"We are waiting for the restoration of the electricity supply," Kryvosheienko added.

The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov, confirmed that the Sumy community is under attack by enemy drones.
According to him, today, the activity of Russian drones was recorded in Sumy and in the approaches to the city.
One of the drones hit a critical infrastructure object.
"Part of the city was temporarily left without electricity. Some important institutions were switched to backup power supply," he explained.
According to the head of the RMA, specialists are promptly working on eliminating the consequences of the attack in order to return electricity to the homes of the district’s residents as soon as possible.
Hospitals in Sumy without power
Meanwhile, acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar stated that three hospitals are already without electricity due to the Russian attack.
Russian strikes on July 13
Earlier, the head of the Sloviansk city military administration, Vadym Liakh, reported that the Russians struck Sloviansk with drones on the night of July 13.
According to him, as a result of the attack, residential buildings, a kindergarten, and a hospital were damaged. A 13-year-old boy was injured.
The enemy also struck the city of Samar in the Dnipropetrovsk region today. According to sources of RBC-Ukraine, the Russians targeted the building of the territorial recruitment center.
In addition, the Russians shelled Kherson at night. Two civilians were injured.
