Over the weekend, a series of explosions was reported across the occupied peninsula. The occupation authorities temporarily closed traffic on the Crimean Bridge, while residents near the Kerch seaport reported seeing a large fire and thick smoke.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later confirmed that Ukrainian forces had struck targets on both sides of the Crimean Bridge. He noted that the facilities were located approximately 300 kilometers from the front line.
