Every country that sincerely supports Ukraine can count on a mutually beneficial partnership. Denmark will be the first country with which Kyiv will launch joint defense production, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announces.

Today, June 25, Zelenskyy met with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. According to him, the following issues were discussed during the talks:

  • development of arms co-production;
  • Denmark's presidency of the Council of the European Union
  • further support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"We have important decisions – Denmark will become the first country with which we will launch a joint defense production. Every country that genuinely supports Ukraine now can count on a mutually beneficial partnership with us. Together, we are strengthening Europe," he added.

NATO summit in The Hague

The NATO Summit is taking place in The Hague on June 24-25. Secretary General Mark Rutte recently opened the meeting.

Among other things, US President Donald Trump is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Meanwhile, media reports suggest that the Alliance's communiqué will not include a promise to accept Ukraine into NATO.
