Bulgaria, Romania, and Türkiye will sign an agreement on demining the Black Sea in January, according to TRT Haber.

As part of the Triple Initiative initiated under the leadership of Türkiye against the mine threat in the Black Sea, the 3rd round of the meeting of the Black Sea Targeted Working Group on mine countermeasures took place with the participation of delegations from Türkiye, Bulgaria, and Romania.

The signing of the agreement on demining the Black Sea is planned for January 11. The ceremony is expected to be attended by the defense ministers of the three countries.

Maritime coalition

On December 11, it became known that Britain and Norway are forming a maritime coalition to assist Ukraine.

Britain immediately announced the transfer of two Sandown-class mine countermeasure vessels, 23 fast patrol boats, and 20 tracked all-terrain vehicles Bandvagn BvS 10 to our country.

Later, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine explained that the purpose of the maritime coalition is to ensure security in the Black Sea, particularly in terms of demining.
