Demi Moore about her daughter's childbirth: I thought she wouldn't make it

Actress Demi Moore shared her thoughts on motherhood, her relationship with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, and revealed details about the birth of her first granddaughter Luetta in her new interview for People.
In April 2023, the family of 62-year-old Demi Moore grew. Her daughter Rumer gave birth to a daughter, Louetta. The actress was present at the home birth and helped the baby come into the world. She previously shared tender moments, in which she was hugging the expectant mother during the process and later posing with the newborn.
Recalling her presence at her daughter’s childbirth, Moore called it an extraordinary experience. Although there was a moment when she worried about Rumer.
It was really incredible. Rumer was at Scout’s birth; Scout and Rumer were at Tallulah’s birth. Rumer had a home birth, and there was a moment when I thought, “Oh boy, I don’t know if she’s going to make it," like she has a different pain threshold than I do. To just see her move into her own power and focus, it was a really extraordinary, beautiful moment, the star shared.

The actress divorced her three daughters' father, Bruce Willis, in 1998. They have remained in a good relationship. The actor currently suffers from aphasia, but Demi visits him along with the children. She is grateful to her ex for maintaining strong family ties.
Regardless of what the outside relationship has been, we have maintained being a family in various forms. The foundation of making our children our priority has never wavered, she shared.

The actress's approach to raising her daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, was influenced by her relationship with her mother, who struggled with alcoholism. She always wanted her children to have a different experience. This, in turn, became a driving force for her personal growth. Over time, the star also found the strength to forgive her mother.
How could I expect my children to have compassion for me if I didn’t have compassion for my own mother?, said the actress.
In 2024, Demi Moore starred in the successful horror film "Substance," for which she received the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards.
