DeepState reveals number of settlements in Kursk region lost by Russia
Russian officials claimed that their army had lost control of 28 settlements in the Kursk region. In fact, the number is much higher, according to DeepState.
"According to our estimates, approximately 44 settlements have been liberated," the creators of the interactive map of the fighting wrote.
They also clarified that the status of ten more settlements is unknown, and this estimate is "extremely conservative."
According to the creators of DeepState, almost no one knows the real number of settlements in the Kursk region that Russia lost. However, Ukrainian defenders took photos near some settlements but did not establish control over them.
