Russian strike on Kyiv
On the night of July 31, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine. The main target was Kyiv. The city was heavily attacked by drones overnight, and closer to morning, Russian forces launched missiles toward the capital.
In particular, a missile struck a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district, completely destroying one of the entrances.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, noted that the force of the strike caused the floors to collapse like a house of cards, leaving most residents with no chance of survival.
During the night and morning attacks, 31 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
