Massive attack on Ukraine
On the night of October 5, Russia launched a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine, with Lviv and the Lviv region suffering the most. Around 04:30, drones struck the city, followed by cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea.
In the morning, aeroballistic Kinzhal missiles, fired from MiG-31 jets, hit Lviv — this time the occupiers used almost all types of their weaponry.
Zaporizhzhia also came under fire, where the massive attack caused power outages for tens of thousands of people. Due to damaged power lines, part of the Cherkasy region was also left without electricity. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Russian forces struck critical infrastructure facilities.
