Information spread online this morning that an assassination attempt had been carried out in Moscow against Russian Armed Forces Major General Fanil Sarvarov.

According to Russian Telegram channels, the explosion occurred in the courtyard of a residential building as he got into his car. As soon as the 56-year-old general sat in his Kia Sorento in the courtyard of an apartment building on Yaseneva Street and began to drive off, an explosion went off.

The vehicle was badly damaged, and Sarvarov was extracted from the car. He sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and fractures and was hospitalized in serious condition.

Earlier, we reported that fighters of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR) carried out a retaliatory special operation on Russian territory, eliminating occupiers who had committed war crimes in Ukraine.

According to RBC-Ukraine, the HUR operation took place near the settlement of Shchitova in Russia's Primorsky Krai. The 47th Separate Air Assault Battalion of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade is stationed there.

This unit took part in combat operations near Kyiv, Vuhledar, Mariupol, and in the Kursk and Pokrovsk directions.

In addition, Ukrainian intelligence eliminated a lieutenant colonel of Russia's National Guard (Rosgvardia) and two other occupiers near the settlement of Tambukan in Stavropol Krai.
