Dead and wounded after massive strike on Zaporizhzhia: Officials reveal details

A 66-year-old woman from Huliaipole and a 7-year-old boy from Zaporizhzhia were killed as a result of Russian attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region on October 10, according to the Telegram channel of Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
In addition to the two killed, 11 people were injured in Zaporizhzhia.
Overall, during the past day, the occupiers carried out 679 strikes on 14 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Russian army carried out four missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
Russian forces also launched 11 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Zaliznychne, Uspenivka, Malynivka, and Poltavka.
Zaporizhzhia, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne were attacked by 459 drones of various types, mostly FPVs.
A total of 68 reports were received about damage to apartment buildings, private homes, vehicles, and social infrastructure facilities.
Massive attack on October 10
As reported earlier, on the night of October 10, the Russians attacked the private sector and infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia. As a result, a 7-year-old boy was killed, and his parents were hospitalized. The man had recently returned from captivity, where he spent three years. He had just bought a house, which was destroyed in the Russian strike.
Gas infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia was also damaged, but pressure in the network was quickly stabilized.
On the night of October 10, Russia once again attacked Ukraine using strike drones and missiles of various types.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that it was a "cynical and calculated attack" involving more than 450 drones and over three dozen missiles, aimed at facilities that ensure the normal life of Ukrainians.
