Daniel Dubois returns: Ex-champ set for huge clash with countryman star

Former IBF world champion, Briton Daniel Dubois, may return to the ring as early as 2025, reports SkySport.
Who Dubois will face and when
The next opponent of the British heavyweight will likely be 20-year-old Moses Itauma, holder of the WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental titles. Promoter Frank Warren spoke about plans for the upcoming fight.
The date of the meeting has not been officially announced yet. It is expected that the bout between the two heavyweight stars will take place in December 2025. Warren hinted that the sides are already close to final agreements.
"Daniel's only 27 years of age. They're all fights down the road. Daniel's got to resurrect himself, get back in there, show what he's all about, him and Moses down the road will be a huge fight," the promoter said.
Dubois and Itauma ahead of showdown
27-year-old Dubois has had 25 fights in his career, winning 22 (21 by knockout) and suffering 3 losses.
In his previous fight, he lost to Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian knocked out the Briton in the fifth round, took his IBF title, and became the undisputed heavyweight champion for the second time.

Itauma is only 20 years old, but he has already had 13 professional fights, winning all of them. Of these, 11 victories came by stoppage.
His aggressive style and devastating punches are often compared to the manner of the legendary Mike Tyson. Itauma had the chance to become the youngest world heavyweight champion, breaking Iron Mike's record (20 years and 4 months), but he did not get a title fight.
In his last fight, the Briton spectacularly knocked out Dillian Whyte in two minutes, winning the WBO Inter-Continental and WBA International titles.
We previously reported that the legendary Tyson and Mayweather will have an exhibition fight.
