Damages reported following drone debris fall in Kyiv region
In the Kyiv region, drone debris fell due to the repelling of an enemy air attack. In one of the settlements, the blast wave damaged apartment windows and other civilian infrastructure, Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, reports on Facebook.
According to Kravchenko, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all Russian targets during the air assault. There were no casualties or hits to critical or residential infrastructure.
At the same time, the debris fall caused blast wave damage in one of the settlements, affecting:
- 18 apartments;
- 3 office premises;
- 3 multi-story buildings.
- windows, doors, and roofs in 4 private houses;
- 4 outbuildings;
- a garage.
"Operational teams continue to record the night attack's consequences on the Kyiv region. We are already working with local authorities and our international partners to assist families whose property was affected," Kravchenko added.
Strikes on Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have regularly shelled Ukrainian cities and villages. Enemy attacks have resulted in the destruction of infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population. Russian military uses various types of weapons for their attacks, including missile systems, artillery, combat drones, and aviation.
On the night of November 27, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia used 89 Shahed strike drones and drones of an unidentified type. In total, Ukrainian defenders shot down 36 enemy UAVs.
