Crispy lavash breakfast: Quick, easy, and filling

Crispy lavash rolls with filling are a perfect option for a quick and tasty breakfast. Thin lavash turns into a golden, flavorful roll with juicy and aromatic filling, says Ukrainian food blogger Alex Mil.
Crispy lavash roll for breakfast: Easy recipe
You will need the following ingredients:
- Lavash – 2 sheets
- Chicken fillet – 400 g
- Onion – 1 piece
- Bell pepper – 1 piece
- Cream – 120 g (20%)
- Grated cheese – 40 g
- Oil – 10 g
- Salt, pepper, ground coriander, dried garlic – to taste
- Cornflakes or breadcrumbs – 40–50 g
- Eggs – 2 pieces
- Total cooking time – 45 minutes.
Instructions:
Add sliced chicken to the oil in a bowl and fry for 6 minutes. Then add the chopped onion and continue frying for an additional 4 minutes, stirring. Add the chopped bell pepper and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
Pour in low-fat cream, add coriander, dried garlic, salt, pepper, and grated cheese. Stir and simmer for a few minutes.

Cut each lavash sheet into 3 or 4 strips. Place the filling on the lavash and roll it into a tube. First dip it in beaten egg, then coat it with unsweetened cornflakes or breadcrumbs.

Bake at 180°C for about 12-15 minutes until the lavash turns golden and crispy.
