On the night of October 13, explosions were reported in temporarily occupied Crimea. An oil depot in Feodosia was attacked, causing a fire, according to the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Krymskyi Veter.

The first reports of the attack on the oil depot appeared at 23:48, after which residents began filming and sending videos to public channels showing the fire at the site.

It is reported that at least three storage tanks caught fire as a result of the attack. Many fire trucks arrived at the site.

In addition, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, confirmed the attack. According to his version, air defense forces allegedly shot down more than 20 drones, but one drone still struck the oil depot.

“As a result, a fire broke out. According to current information, there are no casualties. All relevant services are already working on site,” Aksyonov said.

Attack on the Feodosia terminal

On the night of October 6, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the facilities of the Marine Oil Terminal in temporarily occupied Feodosia. A day later, it became known that the oil transfer complex had been burning for the second consecutive day.

We also reported that on September 29, a large fire broke out at the Feodosia refinery. The official cause of the fire was cited as a violation of welding procedures, although there had been prior reports of aerial and drone threats.
