Washington and Tehran remotely signed a memorandum of understanding on ending the war and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and the agreement has already entered into force.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump himself threatened to resume attacks on Iran should negotiations on the nuclear program fail.
