China reveals its plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine

China will continue to support efforts to find ways to resolve Russia's war against Ukraine politically through dialogue and negotiations, according to Chinese Vice President Han Zheng.
As Han explained, President Xi Jinping follows four clear principles regarding Russia's war against Ukraine.
The Chinese vice president claimed that their main goal is to prevent escalation and restore peace.
He added that the latter "are the fundamental guidelines for China as it continues to play a constructive role in achieving a political settlement of the conflict."
It is essential to understand that China's four principles for resolving the war are:
- Prioritizing peace and stability
- De-escalating the situation
- Refraining from escalating the confrontation
- Creating conditions for dialogue.
China's role in Russia's war against Ukraine
For years, Beijing has insisted that it is not a party to Russia's war against Ukraine and has called for a political settlement through negotiations.
Despite this, China maintains and strengthens close relations with Moscow. China continues to trade with Russia and purchase Russian energy resources.
Ukraine and Western countries accuse China of supporting Russia's military industry. In particular, they point to supplies of dual-use goods that can be used to manufacture weapons.
Notably, Beijing has never joined Western sanctions against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also recently called on Trump to involve Xi Jinping in pressuring Russia.
Moreover, reports emerged that new US sanctions against Russia angered China.
