Chinese Premier Li Qiang, during a meeting in Moscow with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, stated that China is ready to deepen cooperation with Russia, according to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

"China is ready to cooperate with Russia, continue strengthening communication and coordination, and consistently deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of the peoples of both countries," Li Qiang said.

According to him, China is prepared to deepen cooperation with the aggressor country in areas such as investment, energy, agriculture, and more. He added that China has urged Russia to increase supplies of its agricultural products and food to the Chinese market.

In response, the head of the Russian government stated that the strategic partnership between Russia and China "is at an unprecedentedly high level."

Additionally, Mishustin promised to create a "favorable business environment" in Russia for Chinese companies investing in the aggressor country. He added that Moscow would increase its contribution to "promoting regional and global peace, development, and prosperity."

China–Russia cooperation

The Economist reported that China has become the main supplier for Russia’s war machine. It is assumed that Beijing may have transferred lethal weapons to Moscow.

In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has evidence of China supplying weapons to Russia. Beijing officially denies these deliveries.

Moreover, according to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is aware of more than 150 Chinese citizens fighting on the side of the aggressor country. Earlier, Ukrainian forces captured two Chinese nationals.

According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Intelligence Service, Russia plans to produce 2 million FPV drones this year using Chinese components for its war against Ukraine.
