China has stated that it supports all efforts aimed at a peaceful resolution to the war in Ukraine and advocates for continued dialogue between the parties, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning.

Beijing called its position objective and fair.

According to the representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, China's position on the war in Ukraine remains unchanged.

"China's position on the Ukrainian crisis is objective, fair, and obvious to everyone," Mao Ning says.

She also stresses that China, in her words, is not trying to profit from the war.

"China never adds fuel to the fire, never takes advantage of the opportunity to make a profit," the spokesperson says.

China calls on parties to continue negotiations

The Chinese Foreign Ministry notes that recent events have created an opportunity for dialogue, and all parties should maintain the momentum for negotiations.

"Dialogue and negotiations are the only way to resolve the crisis," Mao Ning says.

She expresses hope that the parties will be able to reach a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement.

China declares readiness to participate in settlement

According to the spokesperson, Beijing is ready to continue cooperating with the international community for a political settlement of the war.

"China is ready to work with the international community to play a constructive role," the Chinese Foreign Ministry says.

China can stop Russia's war against Ukraine

Earlier, US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker said that China plays a key role in supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine and, in his opinion, Beijing could influence the end of the war with a single phone call to Moscow.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has previously stated that China was not currently showing any interest in ending Russia's war against Ukraine.
