Children targeted in Zaporizhzhia: Russian propaganda intensifies, says resistance group

The Russian occupation authorities intensify propaganda in the Zaporizhzhia region. Children are urged to report partisans and glorify the Russian army, informs the ATESH resistance movement.
Russian forces are ramping up propaganda activities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, particularly in Melitopol and Chernihivka.
According to the information, the streets of these towns are being filled with new murals, Russian flags, and banners of Putin’s party "United Russia."
Propaganda materials are being placed on administrative buildings and even schools.
The occupiers are paying special attention to schools and kindergartens, where they are conducting so-called "educational events" urging children to trust the occupation authorities, praise the "Russian liberators," and even report their family members if they are suspected of having ties to partisans.
Children are specifically being told about alleged terrorist threats, including naming ATESH as one. The goal is to instill hatred toward the Ukrainian resistance.
"The Rashists (Russian army - ed.) are trying to re-educate the local population, but the truth and resistance are stronger than propaganda," the movement said.

Melitopol and parts of the Zaporizhzhia region have remained under temporary occupation since 2022. Ukrainian resistance forces regularly report on actions and operations against the occupation administration.
Partisans have also discovered weak points in the defense of Balaklava Bay in Crimea.
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, the invaders are turning stolen property from one of the enterprises into military depots.
