Child injured in Kyiv region drone attack
A 5-year-old child was injured in a drone attack in the Kyiv region on January 25. The attack also caused a fire at a local enterprise, according to the Kyiv Regional Police.
"Unfortunately, a 5-year-old child was injured and hospitalized. The child is now in stable condition, with no threat to life or health," the statement reads.
According to the police, as of 12:20 p.m., damage was reported in two districts of the region, affecting three multi-story residential buildings, including 18 apartments.
Additionally, 13 vehicles were damaged, and a fire broke out at a local enterprise, which was extinguished by emergency services.
Russian strikes on Ukraine, January 25
Russian forces launched two missiles and over 60 drones against Ukraine during the night of January 25, targeting the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions.
In Vyshneve, a drone struck a residential building. Five people, including children, were rescued from the site.
In Cherkasy, the drone attack caused partial power outages. Damage was also reported in the Poltava region.
