Massive attack on Ukraine
Early in the morning on June 6, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using over 400 Shahed drones and various types of missiles.
In total, Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 199 drones, 4 ballistic missiles, 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and two Iskander-K cruise missiles.
An additional 169 enemy drones were lost locally.
Chernihiv was among the cities targeted. The Russian army used Shahed drones, ballistic missiles, and a cruise missile in the strike. A total of 14 explosions were reported in the city.
As a result of the attack, four people were reported injured. Two more individuals — security guards of an industrial facility — were trapped under the rubble.
