Chechen fighters targeted in Melitopol car blast — Ukraine's intel releases video

Ukrainian intelligence, together with partisans, carried out a successful operation in temporarily occupied Melitopol. A vehicle carrying Kadyrovites was destroyed, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, on August 2, a minibus exploded on the outskirts of temporarily occupied Melitopol. At the time of the explosion, fighters from the occupation unit Akhmat were inside the vehicle.
As a result of the detonation, all five passengers were killed.
The explosion also injured two occupiers who were in a nearby vehicle and destroyed a mobile electronic warfare system.
Strikes on Melitopol
Earlier reports said a large fire broke out at the Hydromash plant in temporarily occupied Melitopol. Witnesses described thick smoke rising over the city, visible from various districts.
Explosions had been heard near the Hydromash plant multiple times before. According to partisans, in early 2023, the Russians set up an ammunition storage facility there.
It was also reported that in early July, Ukrainian forces successfully struck an occupier base in Melitopol, killing five invaders and destroying a key Russian command node.
