On the night of April 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with 98 strike drones from six directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, during the night of April 13, Russian forces attacked with 98 strike drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk — Russia, and Hvardiiske — temporarily occupied Crimea.

About 65 of the launched drones were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 87 drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north and east of the country.

Hits by 9 strike drones were recorded at 9 locations, as well as falling debris of downed drones at 1 location.

"The attack is ongoing, enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.

Russia violated the Easter ceasefire

In early April, Ukraine proposed a ceasefire to Russia for Easter, as well as after it. However, Russia did not provide a clear response, and Russian leader Vladimir Putin only announced on April 9 that the ceasefire would last from April 11 to April 12.

Despite the ceasefire, by the evening of April 11, it became known that Russian forces, starting from 16:00, violated the ceasefire 469 times. By the morning of April 12, this number had reached 1,723 cases. The attacks continued afterward.

Also, despite the declared Easter ceasefire, Russian forces attacked medics in the Sumy region. Using a drone, they struck an ambulance.
