As a result of the night Russian strike on Kyiv, 25 people were injured, including 4 children. Search and rescue operations continue at the site of the hit to the five-story building, says Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to Tkachenko, as of now, 25 people are known to be wounded, including 4 children. 8 people were injured in the Solomianskyi district, and 17 in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

He adds that the rescue operation at the site of the Russian missile strike in Shevchenkivskyi district is still ongoing.

Death toll increased

During a press conference, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, said that the number of deaths in Kyiv and the region has increased.

According to the head of the department, as of now, 7 people have been killed, including 6 in Kyiv and 1 in Bila Tserkva.

He notes that search and rescue operations on Honty Street, where a 5-story building was hit, are ongoing. In particular, they managed to unblock people who lived in neighboring houses.

Currently, rescuers have dismantled the rubble of the 5th, 4th, and partially the 3rd floors. The rubble of the 2nd and 1st floors remains to be removed.

The operation involves 50 vehicles and 400 rescuers.
