Canada will host a meeting of G7 foreign ministers, where discussions will focus on Ukraine, among other topics, according to Canada's G7 presidency on X.

"Canada is hosting a G7 Foreign Ministers meeting from March 12 to 14 in Charlevoix, Quebec. Discussions will focus on Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, the Indo-Pacific, the Americas, and Africa," the statement reads.

Earlier, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly stated that Ukraine would be one of Canada's key priorities during its G7 presidency.

Ukraine-US talks

On Tuesday, March 11, representatives from Ukraine and the US will meet in Saudi Arabia. The teams will gather in Jeddah.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine will be represented by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the President’s Office Pavlo Palisa.

The US delegation will include Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Vitkoff, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and National Security Advisor to the President Mike Waltz.

As spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Georgiy Tykhyi reported, the meeting will focus on bilateral relations, strategic partnership, its further development, and the path to peace.
