Fire breaks out in Odesa building amid Russian missile attack
On the evening of August 14, during a missile strike in Odesa, a fire broke out in a three-story residential building on Sofiivska Street. Rescuers say it was a coincidence, according to the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) noted that the fire caused panic among the population due to a misunderstanding of its origin, as everyone thought it was a direct hit.
According to rescuers, there were no casualties or injuries. Psychologists from the SESU and the National Police of Ukraine worked with the residents.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 150 square meters.
