Bryansk on alert, missile danger and factory blaze reported

Russia’s Bryansk region was attacked during the night of September 29. Preliminary reports indicate a strike on the Karachev Electrodetal Plant. Missile alerts were issued for the region, according to the ASTRA Telegram channel and Russian media.
Around midnight, a missile alert was announced in the Karachev district of the Bryansk region.
Residents were advised to stay indoors, take shelter in windowless rooms with solid walls, avoid windows, and, for those outside or in vehicles, head to the nearest shelter or other safe location.
At the same time, reports emerged of a fire at the Karachev Electrodetal Plant. The facility specializes in the development and production of electrical connectors for military and industrial use and is considered one of Russia’s leading enterprises in this sector.
Blackout in Belgorod
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported explosions in the Russian city of Belgorod on the evening of Sunday, September 28. Following the blasts, a blackout occurred in the city and partially across the region.
Preliminary reports indicate that the Belgorod CHP and the Luch electrical substation were targeted by unknown missiles.
In the city, elevators stopped working, shops operated only for cash or closed entirely, public transport ran irregularly, some streets were unlit, and traffic lights were out of service.
The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia should understand: if it threatens blackouts in Kyiv, it will face blackouts in Moscow.
