Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has finally broken his silence about his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, with whom he officially divorced at the end of last year. He is upset that she has deprived him of the opportunity to fully communicate with his children and asks her to help him establish communication, reports Radar Online.
Thus, according to the insider, Pitt is convinced that if the court had once granted him equal custody, it would have had a positive impact on the upbringing of children, because a father should be present in the lives of his sons and daughters.
Brad has been missing his children a lot lately. However, despite years of conflicts with his ex-wife, he does not lose hope of fixing the situation.
Pitt has allegedly asked Jolie to facilitate their reconciliation and help restore their relationship with their children. And the worried father is particularly concerned about his 21-year-old son Pax, with whom Brad "eels estranged.
"He believes that if he had been granted shared custody, the situation would be entirely different. For most of Pax's critical teenage years, he felt entirely cut off from him. This period is crucial for a boy to have his father present. Pax needed a strong male figure in his life, but Brad was not permitted to fulfill that role. It fills him with anger and sorrow. The reality of missing so many moments in his children's lives is a burden he cannot shake. Nevertheless, he still feels he could positively impact Pax, but he needs Angelina's assistance to help close the divide," the source says.
By the way, the issue of child custody remains one of the most painful topics in the conflict between the former spouses. They have six children: 22-year-old Maddox, 21-year-old Pax, 19-year-old Zahara, 17-year-old Shiloh, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
At the end of January, Pax Jolie-Pitt was involved in an accident when he collided with a car while riding an electric bike. He was not injured, but it was he who caused the accident.
