Bodies of woman and child found under rubble in Kostiantynivka following Russian attack
The death toll from the Russian aviation strike on Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, on April 9 has risen to three, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"Rescuers recovered the bodies of two deceased individuals - a 43-year-old woman and a 12-year-old child. Yesterday, rescuers retrieved the body of the deceased man," the statement said.
Emergency rescue operations at the shelling site have been completed.
Shelling of Kostiantynivka
On April 9, around 11:30 AM, Russian occupiers shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. One person was killed, and two others were injured. Until recently, rescuers were searching for a woman and child under the rubble of the entrance of one of the buildings.
On April 2, 2023, Russian occupiers shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. Six people were killed, and 8 were injured. At that time, Russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka with S-300 missiles and launched several volleys from the Uragan.
