Russians attacked village in Kharkiv region with cluster munitions on September 6: One wounded
Russian occupiers shelled the village of Nova Hnylytsia in the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region on Wednesday morning, September 6. The enemy attacked the settlement with prohibited cluster munitions, Oleh Synehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Military and Civil Administration, reported.
"Today, at around 7:00 am, Russian occupiers shelled the village of Nova Hnylytsia in the Chuhuiv district with cluster munitions. A private residential house was damaged," he stated.
According to the regional leader, a 50-year-old civilian man sustained shrapnel wounds.
"He was hospitalized in a moderately serious condition. Currently, medical professionals are providing him with the necessary assistance," Syniehubov added.
Shelling in the Kharkiv region
Russian occupiers consistently shelled Kharkiv and the regions bordering Russia's Belgorod region. Recently, the situation has significantly escalated in the Lyman-Kupiansk direction, where the occupiers have concentrated around 100,000 military personnel. In connection with the escalation of hostilities, mandatory evacuations were announced for the population in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region. This includes Kupiansk itself and Kupyansk Vuzlovyy.
