Biden says he is ready to hold debate with Trump in September
United States President Joe Biden has announced his readiness to hold another debate with presidential candidate Donald Trump, citing NBC News.
"I’m gonna debate him when we agreed to debate. And I agreed to debate him in September," he said.
He added that he was "on the horse".
"Where have you been? I’ve done 22 major events, met thousands of people, overwhelming crowds. A lot’s happening. I’m on the horse. What I’m doing is going out and demonstrating to the American people that I have command of all my faculties, that I don’t need — notes. I don’t need telepro — I can go out and answer any questions at all. And I stood there when — when NATO was in town. I stood there for an hour and answered questions," the American leader said.
US presidential election
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024. The main candidates in the race are incumbent President Joe Biden and former American leader Donald Trump.
The first debate between Biden and Trump took place recently in the United States. The media reported that Biden was quiet during the debate, his voice was weak and unreasonable.
After the debate was over, Biden had doubts about running for office for a while. However, his family urged him not to leave the race.
On July 15, Trump received the required number of Republican votes to be nominated as the party's presidential candidate. At the same time, he named his vice presidential candidate. It was Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio.
