Biden's administration response on whether US plans to send military instructors to Ukraine
The United States of America does not plan to send their military instructors to Ukraine, states the national security advisor to the US President, Jake Sullivan.
"For our part, we’re not planning for a training mission in Ukraine," Sullivan noted.
He added that Ukraine needs more air defense systems, which Washington is currently working on. Ukrainian defenders also require a "continued flow of weaponry," which the United States will provide to them.
Sending military instructors to Ukraine
Recently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that France has decided to send its military instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian defenders.
Later, the Ministry of Defense of France clarified that such a decision is still being processed.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also noted that negotiations regarding the dispatch of military instructors with France are ongoing.
