Biden names tasks of last months in office as president
US President Joe Biden has identified ending the war in the Gaza Strip and halting the conflict in Ukraine as the top priorities of his administration over the past six months, according to a national address broadcast.
The President outlined his international policy priorities, which include working towards ending the war in the Gaza Strip and stopping Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
"And I'm going to keep working to end the war in Gaza, bring home all hostages, and bring peace and security to the Middle East and end this war. We'll keep rallying a coalition of proud Nations to stop Putin from taking over Ukraine, doing more damage," Biden said.
The White House chief also pledged to keep NATO stronger, more powerful, and more unified than ever in our history.
Biden's removal from the election race
Recently, US President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for November 5.
As a replacement, he proposed current Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate.
Several members of the Republican Party have called for Biden to resign immediately, but the White House has dismissed such a possibility.
