Biden comments on deployment of North Korean soldiers to Russia
US President Joe Biden considers the deployment of North Korean soldiers to Russia to be very dangerous. These North Korean troops may be used in the war against Ukraine, informs AFP.
President Biden was asked to comment on reports regarding the stationing of North Korean soldiers on Russian territory after he voted in the presidential election in the state of Delaware.
"It's very dangerous," the American leader stated.
Biden also mentioned rumors that US presidential candidate Donald Trump allegedly communicated with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin after leaving office.
North Korean soldiers in Russia
It’s worth noting that the US had already confirmed the presence of North Korean military personnel on Russian territory. According to the White House, North Korean soldiers were transported there by ships, after which they began training at military grounds.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine emphasized last week that around 12,000 North Korean soldiers had been transferred to Russia, with some sent to the Kursk region.
According to the Center for National Resistance, over 3,000 North Korean soldiers have already begun coordination in the Kursk region. Alongside the troops, North Korean embassy employees have also been brought to the training grounds.
