Over the past month and a half, fighters of the Azov brigade in the Toretsk sector have replenished the exchange fund with more than 30 Russian troops, according to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

“During a working trip to the Donetsk region, I listened to the command of the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov and the rifle battalion of the National Police. Together they serve in the Toretsk sector, methodically eliminating Russian troops,” said Klymenko.

He added that over the past week, soldiers of combat units eliminated 178 occupants. Another 40 Russian servicemen were wounded.

Ukrainian soldiers also continue to replenish the exchange fund. In just a month and a half, Azov fighters have captured over 30 Russian occupants.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, enemy losses have amounted to more than 815,000 manpower. Over the past day, January 16, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,670 Russian troops. The following were also destroyed 12 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, and 4 artillery systems.

Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces captured the first North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.
