Attack on Kyiv leaves parts of city without power

During the overnight attack by Shahed-type combat drones, power outages were reported in several districts of Kyiv, according to a post by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
"Power outages are being recorded in several districts of the capital," Tkachenko reported.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the causes of the power supply interruptions are currently being investigated, and details are being clarified.
At 02:33 AM Kyiv time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that power outages occurred in the private sector of the Holosiivskyi district and the Chervonyi Khutir area of the Darnytskyi district. He explained the outages were triggered by automatic safety systems.
"Power crews are already working on site," Klitschko added.
Overnight drone attack on Kyiv, June 17
An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv overnight on June 17 due to a Shahed drone attack.

According to preliminary reports, at least 14 people were injured in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Medical teams were also dispatched to two other districts.
