ATACMS for Ukraine: US will provide as many opportunities as they can
The United States will provide Ukraine with as many ATACMS missiles as they can. This was announced by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, in response to questions at the White House.
Austin was asked if the United States plans additional supplies of long-range ATACMS missiles beyond the recently adopted aid package worth over $60 billion.
Austin stated that the US will provide as many opportunities as they can.
He also added that Ukraine has already received ATACMS.
ATACMS missiles for Ukraine
At the end of April this year, US President Joe Biden signed a bill allocating Ukraine an aid package of over $60 billion.
In the lead-up to the signing of this bill, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in his address that Ukraine has an agreement with the US regarding the supply of ATACMS missiles.
According to reports in the media, back in February, Biden allegedly agreed to provide Ukraine with over 100 larger-range ATACMS missiles.
It's entirely possible that these missiles were used by Ukraine to strike the airfield in Dzhankoy.
