At least seven countries ready to host Zelenskyy-Putin meeting, says Ukraine's Foreign Minister

At least seven countries have expressed their readiness to host a top-level meeting between Ukraine and Russia. However, Moscow is also putting forward unacceptable proposals, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
He noted that such proposals are serious, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready to meet Russian leader Vladimir Putin at any moment.
But, as the foreign minister added, "Putin continues to mess around with everyone by making knowingly unacceptable proposals."
"Only increased pressure can force Russia to finally get serious about peace process," the Foreign Minister said.
What Putin said
Today, September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference that he does not reject a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but he does not know if it makes sense.
The Kremlin leader also suggested that Zelenskyy come to Moscow so that such a meeting could take place.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that a meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin would require careful preparation of the issues to be discussed by the leaders.
