Ashley St. Clair sells Tesla, claims Elon Musk cut child support by 60%

MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair stated that she was forced to sell her Tesla due to a 60% reduction in child support for her son from Elon Musk. However, the billionaire claims he has already paid her $2.5 million, reports The Independent.
A video surfaced online showing Ashley St. Clair handing over her black Model S, worth $100,000, to a car dealership employee outside her Manhattan apartment. She explained that she was selling the car because of a 60% cut in child support payments from Musk.
Elon Musk responded to this statement in a post on X, noting that despite the lack of proof of paternity, he has already paid St. Clair $2.5 million and continues to send her $500,000 per year. "I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out," Musk wrote, adding that no court order is needed.
Musk and St. Clair: the legal battle continues
According to St. Clair, she last tried to contact Musk on February 13 but received no response. She claims that the billionaire acted "vindictively" after she publicly announced the birth of their son. Earlier, on February 14, St. Clair posted on X, where she first declared that Musk was the father of her five-month-old son.
On February 21, St. Clair filed a lawsuit for paternity and custody in a New York court, stating that Musk asked her to keep the child's birth a secret and then stopped communicating. In March, Musk's lawyers secured a court order prohibiting St. Clair from disclosing details of the case.
Ashley St. Clair claims that her financial struggles are not only due to reduced payments but also because of the declining value of Tesla stock.
Earlier, it was reported that Musk reduced the payments after St. Clair went to court demanding sole custody and paternity verification. According to the blogger’s lawyers, the billionaire tried to "silence" the mother of his child through financial pressure and a court order to prevent her from speaking publicly.
