Artificial intelligence in fashion industry
Artificial intelligence has already proven its uniqueness and versatility, and now it has reached the fashion industry, where it can easily change and create new trends.
Ukrainian designer Andre Tan tells about how AI influences the fashion industry.
How artificial intelligence affects modern industry
Artificial intelligence is rapidly penetrating all aspects of our lives, and the fashion industry is no exception. AI has been involved in many interesting and innovative developments in the fashion industry.
Currently, it continues to create exciting projects for modern fashion, but whether it always helps designers, stylists, and brands is a rhetorical question.
However, it can confidently be said that its influence is strong, as things are emerging that no human fashion creator could have imagined, at least hypothetically. After all, what artificial intelligence does is currently beyond the reach of humans.

Mass market. Companies like Zara, H&M, and the entire Inditex group have long been using AI to forecast demand for clothing. This allows companies to react more quickly to changes in trends and avoid overproduction of clothing. For example, ZARA has already laid off 500 designers using AI.
Personalized clothing. Google introduced an AI model called "DeepFashion" that can create new clothing designs based on the analysis of real photos of people. This model can be used to create individualized looks for each customer.
Ecological clothing. Companies like Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, and many others use AI to develop new methods of producing jeans that require less water and energy.
"These are just a few examples of AI usage in the fashion industry. Artificial intelligence continues to evolve, and we will likely see even more innovations in this constantly developing field," summarizes the designer.
